Homeopathic Remedies for Ebola by Pam Nori

It is important that we consider Homeopathic remedies in the fight against the Ebola virus. Ebola is a hemorrhagic fever virus. Viruses replicate themselves inside living cells of an organism making it very difficult for prescription drugs to destroy them.

Antibiotics have no effect on viruses. Antiviral drugs do not destroy the pathogen but instead inhibit their progress and development. With the recent Ebola outbreak in West Africa, there is an urgent push to have antiviral drugs for Ebola made available as soon as possible. There are labs which have been developing antiviral drugs for Ebola, but it may be several years before clinical trials can determine their efficacy and safety. ZMapp and TKM-Ebola are two antiviral drugs for Ebola which are being tested on monkeys. Both drugs show promise in the fight against the virus.

There are two Homeopathic remedies which have descriptions which closely resemble the symptoms of the Ebola disease. Crotalus Horridus and Bothrops are remedies which address hemorrhagic fevers.

Both remedies address fever, hemorrhages from orfices of the body, nausea, vomiting, extreme sore throat causing difficulty swallowing, unbearable headaches, uncontrollable diarrhea, severe muscle and bone pains, confusion and exhaustion. These symptoms are also the symptoms experienced by a person suffering from the Ebola virus. In Homeopathy the premise is "like cures like." Both Crotalus Horridus and Bothrops descriptions closely resemble the symptoms of the Ebola disease. This makes the remedies good candidates to actively address the Ebola virus in a person suffering from the virus.
